Value is the points the player went on to start that season, for whoever started him, so a steal is a steal even if he was traded away. A member's first auction carries $10 extra, so a new manager's line reads against $210 rather than $200. The letter is the all-play rate of each roster as bought: its best legal lineup every regular-season week against every other roster on the board, byes out. On paper each pick scores his Sleeper week 1 projection under the league's scoring, with week 1 health in and each player available at his position's injury rate on record; Sleeper does not project the yardage and long-play bonuses, so every line runs a little under the book. A pick Sleeper did not project reads the trade model's week 1 line, and one with neither reads no projection. In the books each pick scores what he scored, wherever he was rostered. The price reading is separate: the roster's return a dollar against the board, as a rank. Margin is a pick's points a game over the replacement at his position: the best player the board would not start for anyone, or the next one past the starters where every drafted player starts. On paper the replacement is the 11th QB at 21.8, the 26th RB at 14.4, the 26th WR at 14.6, the 10th TE at 12.1, the 11th K at 9.5, the 11th DEF at 8.1 a game. In the books the replacement is the 11th QB at 20.1, the 26th RB at 12.9, the 26th WR at 14.5, the 10th TE at 5.4, the 11th K at 7.3, the 11th DEF at 5.0 a game.
