* small sample, outside the standardization pool. Scoring rank is the average regular-season PF/G rank per season; lineup efficiency is points started over the optimal lineup; draft return is started points per auction dollar against the league rate; waiver hit rate is adds that started three or more games; trades won uses the tenure grade with conversion credit; cheap hits are auction buys at $5 or less that returned 100 or more started points.

Six components: scoring rank 25%, lineup efficiency 25%, draft return 15%, waiver hit rate 15%, trades won 10%, cheap hits 10%. Each is standardized across the current managers with 30 or more games, and the index is 50 plus 10 times the weighted z. Trades won uses the tenure grade with conversion credit; a missing component counts as neutral. Under 30 games is marked small sample, left out of the pool and not ranked. A season view standardizes within that season across everyone who played it and ranks the managers with 8 or more games in it.
