The read
Start with the number: 25 games lost with the winning lineup on his bench, the most of any active manager and one short of Greg's all-time mark. Ryan's career record is .443 with no podiums in nine seasons, and a real share of that gap is self-inflicted. The same rosters with clean lineup management produce playoff runs that never happened.
The rest of the file runs deep. The 13-game losing streak across 2020 and 2021 is the longest ever. He finished last in 2023. The 393.84 corrected to 113.84 is the most famous scoring event in league history, and he won that game anyway.
